Mica added that the process was much easier for her and Jay R because of their common preferences on things. She also noted that the preparation was not that stressful for both parties since they have their own fair share of experience of preparing and conducting events.
In a separate interview, Mica said that they are taking their in the preparation of the wedding and had already sought the assistance of the wedding planner Amanda Tirol. Jay R added that the ceremony would be a simple, non traditional beach wedding that is set to take place in the beautiful island of Boracay.
"Very simple lang ang gusto namin na wedding na hindi bongga."
"Kami, iba naman kami, we wanna undo kasi outdo sila, 'di ba? Very simple lang na Boracay."
According to Mica, the event will be attended by their closest family members and friends. The couple also shared that they plan to have a civil wedding first in Los Angeles for the benefit of their relatives in California, prior to their beach wedding in Boracay. Although couple hasn't given any specific date yet of the event, an article published not long ago said that the wedding will take place in 2020 according to Jay R.
Mica and Jay R got engaged last October of 2018 at the Nobu Hotel in City of Dreams Manila. The couple had been on a relationship for five years before getting engaged.
Mica Javier is the niece of is the niece of Apo Hiking Society's member, Danny Javier. She's the daughter of Mayor Sandy Javier of Javier, Leyte who is also a businessman that owns the famous chicken lechon business, Andok's Litson Corporation.
