Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano undoubtedly has one of the most beautiful faces in Philippine showbiz industry today. The 21 year old actress proved that she's not just another pretty face but a talented performer as well in a short span of time. Liza had her breakthrough role in the critically acclaimed tv series Forevermore back in 2014. This opportunity leads to numerous roles both in small and big screen and has began her reputation of one of the most successful and sought out young artist of the generation of this present day.
Liza's captivating charm was not only well perceived locally but also in other countries as well. Last April, the entertainment website, Starmometer.com, conducted an online poll to search for the top "100 Most Beautiful Women in the World" for the year 2019. Thousands and thousands of netizens participated in the poll. Based on the result and from the list of 100 artists, the network further narrow it down 20. They continued until only 10 celebrities were left.
In the end, it was Soberano who won the final leg of the poll and won the title of Most Beautiful Woman in the World of 2019. Soberano surpassed other foreign celeberities such as KPop star from Thailand Lalisa Monaban who got the second place and Thailand superstar Urassaya Sperbund that ended up third place. Also in the top 5 are KPop stars Kim Jisoo and Kim Jennie. Soberano also turned Hollywood stars Selena Gomez, sixth placer, and co-starring superhero Gal Gadot aka Wonder Woman into ninth place. Rounding out the top 10 were Lily Collins from Great Britain, Tzuyu from Taiwan, and Deepika Padukone from India.
From more than 2 million votes, Liza received an impressive 370,420 votes from the Starmometer website and their social media accounts. Also in the top 12 is another Filipina celebrity, Catriona Gray who won the crown of Miss Universe in 2018.
