Comedian Vice Ganda shared on It's Showtime that boyfriend Ion Perez almost give up his contract with the noontime show where Ion serves as an usher.
“Eto, para sa kaalaman ng lahat, si Ion po ay minsan nang nag-resign dito sa Showtime dahil sa sobrang bashing na inaabot niya," Vice started.

He went on saying that Ion decided to go back to his province and just live a simple life again.
“Hindi niya kaya. Umiiyak siya lagi sa nanay niya.
“Sabi niya, magtitinda na lang daw siya ulit ng kakanin sa Tarlac.
“Kaya na niya naman daw. Magbabantay na lang daw siya sa palengke.”
Ion was then stopped by the It's Showtime director, Bobet Vidanes when he persuade Ion to stay.
“Kinausap lang siya ni Direk Bobet at ngayon nandito siya.
“Pinagalitan siya ni Direk Bobet para hindi siya huminto sa ginagawa niya.”
“Nay, eto, o, yung kasama mong nagtitinda ng kakanin, may award na…”
The issue was brought up by the comedian TV-host after Perez won the title, Breakthrough Artist Award on a online poll of an entertainment website.
After Vice's statement, Ion became emotional.
“Hindi ko po lubos-maisip na mabibigyan ako ng ganito,” said Ion during the airing of the show yesterday, Friday, November 15.
Vice was then moved seeing his boyfriend became emotional.
According to Vice, Ion didn't went in the said awards night because he was too shy.
“Lagi siyang nahihiya. Walang kabilib-bilib sa sarili niya,” said Vice.
Then the unkabogable star reminded his beloved that he should always remember that he's making a lot of people happy.
“Simple lang ang ginagawa mo, Ion, pero ang dami mong napapanginti every day.”
Their other co-hosts, Anne Curtis and Jhong Hilario also gave their words of encouragement to the rising talent, that he should know that he might have plenty of bashers but he also makes a lot of people laugh.
“Hindi mo ba naririnig tuwing pumapasok na rito, grabe yun hiyawan ng madlang people sa ‘yo?” Anne uttered.
Ion thanked the people who supports him.
Vice ended his message saying,
“Congratulations. I’m very proud of you and I love you.”
The sweet couple became the headlines this past weeks after Vice revealed the real relationship between them. The two then became vocal of each other and now posting photos together on their different social media accounts.
The TV-host revelation happened during their recent 9th Year Anniversary special, Magpasikat.
