The friendship between Kakai Bautista and Ahron Villaflor had a rift before but they are now in good terms again.

"Hindi na kami nahihiyang magsabi ng kung anu-anong mga bagay," the singer-actress said.
She also shared that Ahron has promised her something.
"Nangako siya na 'pag 35 na siya tapos wala pa siyang asawa, ako na talaga pakakasalan niya. Mag-ti-32 na [siya ngayon]."
Back in 2016, Kakai and Ahron's extreme closeness led the public to believe that they were a couple.
Unfortunately, their friendship did not survive public scrutiny and comments about their rumored relationship.
Until one day, Ahron suddenly deleted his photos with the comedienne on Instagram.
And then in July of 2017, Ahron had an angry outburst on Twitter when Kakai reportedly implied that they had a relationship. There was also speculation that Kakai implied that Ahron is gay.
"'Tanggap mo kung ano ako?' Saan galing un? Bakit ano ba ang alam mo sa pagkatao ko? Naging tayo ba?" Ahron wrote on his Twitter account.
He went on saying that they never had a romantic relationship.
"Ako ang alam ko NEVER naging tayo. Nanahimik ako kasi marunong akong rumespeto ng babae. Pero siguro naman may karapatan din ako magsalita para maipagtanggol ko naman ang sarili ko."
A few days after, Ahron apologized to the public through Facebook. He said he was just angry and was trying to defend himself.
"If you expect me to say something bad just because she has attacked my reputation, I won't, in fact, I simply would like to say that I'm sorry dahil hanggang ngayon pala may sama pa rin yata siya ng loob sa akin. Sama ng loob na akala ko wala na dahil yun huli namin pagkikita ay nagbiruan pa kami at nagpahatid pa nga siya sa akin."
After their bitter-sweet relationship on the past, it seems like the two had started over again and even became better version as Kakai happily admits that they are on good terms again.
