A graduate student of Tourism went viral after posting her graduating "fun shot" photo with a heartwarming message for her mother who is currently working abroad. The said post has gained praises and positive comments from the netizens, especially from the Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who are working abroad.

A Tourism graduate named Minerva Jane Borca also made her own version of "fun shot" that surely went viral on social media.
Instead of writing her name, student number or course she took, Minerva wrote down saying, "Ma uwi ka na sa 'Pinas ako naman ang magtatrabaho." Her inspiring post, dated March 22, garnered thousand of comments and shares. Also, her Acebook post was filled with praising comments and positive messages for her and foe her mother.
In her post, she recalled how her mother, Maria Fe, perseveres in abroad despited of all the difficulties that she faces and the feeing of loneliness for being apart from her family.
"Ne (referring to Minerva), sobrang nakakapagod dito, wala pa akong kain, nagkape lang ako."
"Mabuti pa 'yung sahod buwan-buwan umuuwi ng 'Pinas."
According to her, Maria Fe has been a domestic helper since 2012. Her mother's selfess sacrifices became her number one source of inspiration to achieve her college degree. Minerva Jane has three younger siblings whom she take care of while their mother was away from them. She admitted that there are lot of times that she misses her dear mother. However, Minerva never complains as she knows what her mother's sacrifices were for the sake of their family.
She was determined to finish her studies in college so that she can support her family's needs and above all, she wants her mother to return to the Philippines and never go back again in Oman. The hardworking daughter wants to repay her mother for all the sacrifices that she had made just for them to have a better life and brighter future. Minerva's mindset is genuinely admirable and an inspiraton to every students especially to those who are in the same shoe.
Truly, Minerva's story is an eye-opener especially to those students who always complains about their studies. This kind of post is inspiring and motivating for those who struggles in their studies but wants to help and repay the people who made sacrifices to give them better life.
For the hardworking students, always keep in mind that you have to get going because there will always be a fruit of hardwork. No matter how difficult it will be, it will be worth it at the end. It may be a slow process, but a process also means progress. Don't be afraid to fail and get up again, it was once a failure before it becomes a success. You are half way there!
