Celebrities are just like normal people. Despite of their reputation and public image, they are capable of feeling anger when provoked and tend to lose their cool too sometimes.
Recently, action star Robin Padilla made a buzz online when he unleashed his inner "Bad Boy" side after a netizen accused him and his pregnant wife Mariel Rodriguez of being pretentious and hypocritical.
It all started out in an Instagram entry posted by Mariel as she gave updates about her second pregnancy. The 35 year old actress and host is already due next month. According to source, the couple had name their second unborn daughter, Gabriela.
“Another update is her head is now down getting ready for delivery. Pls pray with me I really want to push for another vaginal birth. Enjoying the last stretch of my pregnancy.” Mariel wrote.
Rodriguez is currently in Dover, Delaware as she awaits her childbirth. This scenario isn't something new. It can be recalled that Mariel did the same thing when she gave birth to their first daugther, Isabella, back in November 2016. Due to her history of miscarriages and complicated pregnancy, the couple opted to utilize advance medical facilities in the US.
Her fans and followers expressed their concern and wished nothing but safe childbirth for both Mariel and their second baby. But the warm atmosphere suddenly took a nasty turn, when a netizen started lashing out at Mariel and even Robin Padilla, calling the couple hypocrites.
This netizen accused of Mariel giving birth in the US just to make her child a natural born US citizen, which was according to him is illegal. He further noted how ironic it is for Mariel to do such thing where as her husband, Robin, has time and again expressed his pride as a Filipino and his love for the country.
It did not take long before Robin himself joined in the comment section. The action star did not mince words as he curse the netizen and even reached the point where he asked where's the netizen's location is.
The said netizen in response gave his coordinates and told Robin that he will be reporting Mariel's case to homeland security.
Robin they advice the netizen to personally faced him when he finally have the "balls" or real courage to do so. The action star also pointed that the netizen false sense of courage to speak in that manner while hiding in his so called homeland security.
The netizen did not reply anymore. It is unclear whether the the basher actually lives in the US, or if he is a Filipino.
Padilla then went and wrote a lenghty comment on having a baby born as a Filipino-American does not equally mean that they are turning their back on the country.
