Recently, Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo and hunk actor Matteo Guidicelli surprised their fans with the bews that they are already engaged. It is after the news rounded the internet because of the Instagram posts of Matteo's younger brother, Paolo Guidicelli saying that the two were engaged since last year and they kept it as a secret.
It was also obvious with Matteo's Instagram post, photos with his now a fiancè, Sarah Geronino showing two pictures of them jokingly choking the actor. The diamond ring on Sarah's left hand was also seen. This post was captioned, "I love you my love, now and forever."
The speculations became stronger because of his hinted Instagram post but later on, this was confirmed on TV Patrol after the two admitted that they are already engaged.
Now given that Sarah is already engaged and finally found her 'the one,' let us look back to all the men who had a past and linked with her.
First one on our list is Mark Bautista. Mark admitted that he courted the actress on the past. We also know that the two were long time friends given that they are both into singing. They started in TV talent search, Star For A Night where the actress won the title while Bautista was one of the grand finalists. Unfortunately, the two didn't come into romantic relationship because Sarah's parents were very strict that time but they still remained friends until now.
Next is John Lloyd Cruz. The two first met on 2006 where they starred together in one episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya with a title, Kwintas. Since then, Sarah admitted that she was an avid fan of the actor. On 2008, the two had their first block buster movie, A Very Special Love where Sarah admitted that she had a crush on John Lloyd after the shoot of their MMK episode. Their first movie was a success so it had a part two titled, You Changed My Life where the two admitted that they had special feelings with each other but it didn't end up in a relationship because they chose to respect their careers and people around them.
On 2010, Geronimo had a secret relationship with Rayver Cruz. They kept it a secret because Sarah's parents were not yet ready during that time and she was just starting up her showbiz career. They had a very hard set up because they were only talking to each other through skype and text messages, it lasted for a year. Until Rayver gave up and courted Cristine Reyes while still in a relationship with the singer-actress but the two are now civil.
Former PBB housemate, Gerald Anderson also admitted that he planned to court the actress after their movie, Catch Me I'm Falling on 2011 but a year later, the actor announced that he will no longer continue the courtship. The reason wasn't clear but there was a rumore that Mommy Divine, mother of Sarah, tried to stop the actor.
Singer-actor Sam Milby was also linked to the actress during their kanta-serye, Idol on 2010. During his guesting on The Buzz, he revealed that he admired the actress because of her talents in singing and acting but he wasn't able to pursue her because of their busy schedules on their career.
FPJ's Ang Probinsyano leading actor, Coco Martin also admired the Pop Star Princess during the making of 'Idol' where they also worked together. There was a rumor that he planned to pursue the actress but didn't continue due to Sarah's overprotective mother, Mommy Divine. The two remained friends.
Last but not the least, her 'the one,' Matteo Guidicelli. The two first formally met during the concert of Billy Crawford and Sarah Geronimo in Cebu where Billy introduced Matteo to the stunning actress. But before this, Matteo was very vocal about him admiring the actress. Eventually, they became friends and on 2013, during Sarah's concert in America, Guidicelli fearlessly announced his feelings to the actress. Since then, Matteo waited patiently for the right time and respected Sarah's parents. Truly, Matteo was the only one who sincerely pursue Sarah's hands. Now they are already engage, we are all rooting that their fairytale-like love story will lasts forever.
As of now, the couple has not yet revealed all the details about their future wedding.
