After placing runner-up in 2016, 2017 and 2018, Queen of Hearts Kathryn Bernardo finally bagged the title “Most Beautiful Woman in the Philippines” in the 14th edition of the annual poll os Starmometer.
She garnered a total of 2,437,800 combined votes from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and online polls during the 10-day bout beating 5 other finalists including two-time titleholder Nadine Lustre who got a very close 2,383,147 votes and who emerged as this year’s runner-up.

The “Hello, Love, Goodbye” star debuted in the list of “100 Most Beautiful Women in the Philippines” poll in 2014 where she placed 13th overall. The winner that year was Angel Locsin. In 2014, Angel won again while Kathryn placed 14th overall. And then from 2015 to 2018, Kathryn always landed in second place position. This year, she finally got the title!
The criteria for choosing the winner this year is:
30% – charm
40% – facial beauty
30% – popularity index (visibility in the last 12 months)
Placing third and the highest new entry this year is Diana Mackey. The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate received a total of 1,246,060 votes.
Maine Mendoza duplicated her fourth-place finish with a total of 722,298 votes. Last year’s winner, Kisses Delavin, settled for fifth place with a total of 665,710 votes. 8-time titleholder Angel Locsin finished 6th with a total of 230,675 votes. The star of The General’s Daughter topped the poll from 2006 to 2010, and from 2013 to 2015.
Renowned as the Philippines Teen Queen, Kathryn Bernardo started showbiz as young as seven years old. The 20-year-old actress played the role of Mara, the main protagonist, in the soap opera Mara Clara in 2011.
This cute girl is certainly winning the entertainment industry by squall. Her fame began to establish in the industry through her well-supported boyfriend, Daniel Padilla.
