After being silent for months because of his scandal video, veteran singer Jim Paredes is back again criticizing his fellow celebrities.

Now, he contradicted the plan of Kapuso Network GMA-7 to give Sen. Bong Revilla television show again.
On his twitter acoount, Paredes wrote,
“PERA PERA PERA lahat. Ok Lang sa inyo na maging role model siya ng kabataan? C’mon GMA. You can do better than this"
"Why would a franchise ALLOW this? That is the bigger question. They have social and corporate responsibilities. Their airwaves belong to the Filipino people."
Some of the netizens agreed with him but there are people who still defended the politician by hitting Paredes back with his video scandal.
According to them, Paredes' claims will be more reliable if he is a credible person and has no video scandal that can be fired back against him, even if he already apologized about the issue.
Earlier this year, the singer's video scandal where he can be seen playing with his 'private' part has leaked and circulated the internet. After this, he was backlashed by netizens especially those who supports President Duterte it is because Paredes is known for always criticizing the respected president.
The video scandal of him was also criticized back by fellow artists but some also defended him. Jim was a former member of APO Hiking Society.
On the other hand, Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. got involved about the 'pork barrel' issue and plunder case causing him to be imprisoned for 4 years. After being released and got his freedom again, he ran for Senatorial race and won again. Aside from being a politician, he is also an actor and seen on different TV shows and films from his years until the present. His last owned show was "Kap's Amazing Story" where he hosted the said TV show.
