In 21st century, we live in a technological world. Almost all of us use gadgets in daily lives for different purposes. 21st century learners, some of them, use their smartphones to take picture of their supposed to be writings on their notebooks. But one student recently went viral after using banana leaf as his notebook so that he can write down his teacher's writings on the board.
Arcilyn Balbin Azarcon Lpt, posted photos of his student who used banana leaf to be able to write down his notes as his teacher told them to do so. Arcilyn is a teacher at Lianga National Comprehensive High School in Poblacion, Lianga, Surigao del Sur.

Teacher Arcilyn told the students to copy the lessons written on the board. As usual, the students readily complied. Afterwards, teacher Arcilyn roam around the classroom to check her students' notebooks and it was on her surprised that one of her students is writing down in a banana leaf.
It was certainly clear that the boy student came prepared before his school and we could tell it that it was not a prank or a joke time for his teacher as he seriously wrote on the leaf.
After the class copying the notes, the students one by one passed their notebooks to teacher Arcilyn to have it checked. Just like the rest of the class, the boy also went to his teacher's table and asked her to also check his notes.
The boy politely asked his teacher,
“Ma’am, please check my notes, too, so I can also have points."
Proud that this young man is doing his best to find a solution to his lack of notebook, the teacher happily did so.
Teacher Arcilyn also encourages her students to write down their notes on their notebooks and exert an effort instead of taking photos of their lessons.
The netizens were touched by the boy's pure deed because he sets as a good example that lacking in the needs of studying shout not be a hindrance to stop making efforts for your studies.
This post may served as a lesson to all the students who are lucky enough to have everything they need when it comes to studying.
