In our country, competing in different beauty pageants becomes a norm. Filiipina beauty is truly one of the faces that you will see competing aound the world. Miss Grand International, Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Earth are the best known beauty pageants of all time.
Pinay beauty queens has brought the Philippines to many countries to represent our foreign land. For many times, we have brought the bacon home. In 1969, Miss Gloria Diaz won the title of Miss Universe and even had a famous history because of her wits in answering the questions.
As of now, our country has a record of winning all the big four international pageants; Miss Universe (4 crowns), Miss International (6 crowns), Miss World (1 crown) and Miss Earth (4 crowns) for a total of fifteen titles and crowns.
In 2015, Miss Universe Philippines Pia Wurtzbach has made a history for bringing home the crown after 42 years. It is after the last victory of Miss Universe 1973 Margarita Moran. In 2018, Miss Universe Catriona Gray has done it again, winning the said pageant that gives our country back to back wins.
With this being said, Maymay Entrata, former housemate of Pinoy Big Brother wows her followers after uploading a video of her walking like a beauty queen and even beauty queens like Nicole Cordoves, Pia Wurtzbach and Mutya Datul. Dra. Vicki Belo also praised her beauty queen-like walk.
