Actress Katherine Grace Abad, who is also known as Kaye Abad is a 37-year-old Filipino-American who started her showbiz career in 1993 after being part of Star Magic Batch 3.
Kaye starred as a cast on the children's show Ang TV, followed by many teleseryes considering her good acting skills. During her teenage years in showbiz, she was paired with John Lloyd Cruz in a series, Tabing Ilog that aired from 1999 to 2003. The two were also reported that they had a real short relationship in the past.
Little did we know, aside from being an actress, she also became the ambassador of the Manila International Airport Authority since February 13, 2008.
About her love life, Abad started dating Cebuano businessman and former actor Paul Jake Castillo. They got engaged in May 2016 where Paul arranged a surprise birthday party for Kaye's 34th birthday and used it as a chance to ask for the hands of the actress. The surprise party was filmed and uploaded by their friends and went viral during that time. They finally tied the knot on December 9, 2016 held in Cebu.
On July 2017, the actress heartily announced that they are expecting their first child and on December 22, 2017, the married couple welcomed their first son, Pio Joaquin who also happens to have the same birth date with his dad.
Paul Jake Castillo came from a wealthy family in Cebu who owns the International Pharmaceuticals Inc. that already has 14 branches across the country. Their company produces products like Bioderm, Efficascent Oil, and a lot more. Castillo was able to have his own business, Yobob Lechon de Cebu.
The former actor, actually, was already wealthy before he joined showbiz.
Given the facts about Kaye and Paul Jake, they still keep their feet on the ground and chose to settle down in Cebu and have a simple happy life together with their son, Pio.
