The Better Woman lead stars Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres finally answered the ongoing speculations romantically linking them to each other during the last taping of their television series yesterday, September 26. Although the rumored couple tried to avoid to putting a label on the current status of their relationship, it is pretty obvious that the two are very happy with each other.
In their own words, both Andrea and Derek gave subtle hints on what going on between the two of them as of the moment. The 42 year old actor was more straight forward as he told the press that he and Andrea is already on a level that is "more than friends".
"We are more than friends. We’re at that stage na we both have feelings for each other."
Andrea on the other hand, did not provide any direct answer when asked if the two of them are already a couple. Instead, she told that she's very happy with Derek right now to an extent that people around had already started to notice. She considers Ramsay as "“the closest guy" to her right now.
“Sobrang saya. Marami naman ang nakakapansin, yung difference talaga."
“Minsan, kapag masyado kang happy, parang hindi mo ma-keep sa sarili mo."
According to the two, they immediatedly "connected" with each other shortly right after they've met.
"When we first met, we already had a connection dun sa station ID ng GMA."
"We just connected, we were just talking about pag-aartista, we did not see na may connection kami, and then nabuo."
Derek added that one more great thing about their relationship is that parents of both parties seemed to approve them for one another. He even added that his father and Andrea's almost becomes inseparable after they've met. Their parents appears to easily jive in similar fashion just like what happened to them.
"It’s not just both physically attracted, it’s deeper than that in the sense that she has met my parents, I’ve met her parents, our parents have met."
"My dad and her dad, kailangan mong i-separate."
"Sila [ni Andrea] ang laging magka-text ng nanay ko. Ako, lagi kong ka-text ang nanay niya."
“So, first time in my life na my set-up is like that."
