Former Girltrends Member Dawn Chang says she's very happy with how things are going on with her current boyfriend and fellow ABS CBN artist, Justin Cuyugan. Dawn first revealed that she's dating the Justin last February of this yerr, 2019. The two met during Dawn's short stint in the longest running television series "Ang Probinsyano.
According to the actress/ dancer, Cuyugan and her have been on the same wavelength despite the actor being eight years older than Dawn.
"Hindi ako mahilig sa small talk. So gusto ko may sense kausap. Gusto ko sa tao basta may sense ka kausap or sobrang wala kang sense kausap. Yung sira ulo lang tayong dalawa."
During their appearance on the morning talk show Magandang Buhay, the couple have provided additional details about their relationship. She said that her current boyfriend had made her more outgoing as an individual. Dawn told that she was able to make new friends thanks to Justin's personality.
“Marami akong nakilalang celebrity friends because of him kasi konti lang ang celebrity friends ko."
"Hindi kasi ako ma-party. Hindi ako ma-inom."
"Eh di ba that’s when you know a lot of people instantly? Eh hindi ako ganun."
"Eh nung lagi kaming nagsasama tapos we’d go to the gym together before, ang dami niyang friends na pinapakilala sa akin tapos nagiging friends ko na rin sa showbiz."
Dawn also took note on how mature and understanding Justin is and commended his very serious effort in order to win her. Being an actor himself, he also did not seem to mind Dawn's on screen tandem with fellow actor Aaron Villaflor.
“Si Justin naman respects yung tandem namin ni Arron (Villaflor) sa UKG and I made it clear to Justin that I have this sort of tandem with Arron and he was fine with it."
"Ganito lang ako itsura ko, pa-sexy and liberated but I’m very serious when it comes to relationships. Ayoko ng pa-showbiz na relationship."
Justin Cuyugan was one of the new talents launched by ABS-CBN's talent management arm Star Magic. He is a widower. Justin was married to a woman named Carmi whom he had three children before her untimely passing due to ovarian growth.
